What We Do
The contractor’s dilemma
At Industrial Dash, we believe that time is money. Our CEO Henry Salas has repeatedly witnessed contractors have to leave the site where they’re performing a job in order to run over to a hardware store, purchase what they need, and hightail it back to the job site. That’s not very efficient, and the clients- the people for who the job is being performed- don’t really like having to watch this extra process unfold.
For example, let’s say a client is paying for a new air conditioning unit to be installed in his house, and for the old air conditioning unit to be removed. The client hires a contractor to come to the property and set the new air conditioning unit up. But upon arriving at the home, the contractor discovers that each of his screwdrivers is too big and bulky to remove the old air conditioning unit that’s currently in place.
At this point, the contractor has no choice; he needs a smaller, more nimble screwdriver in order to complete the job. So the contractor would then have to stop his work, get into his car, find the nearest hardware store and drive to it, pick out the screwdriver he needs, and then drive back- which could potentially take two hours, if not even longer.

Industrial Dash solves that contractor’s dilemma!
After watching this aforementioned process unfold over and over again, Henry Salas decided to do something about it.
Our society has reached such a level of demand for delivery services that the food industry has an abundance of them. Many restaurants deliver takeout these days, and then there are food delivery services such as GrubHub and Uber Eats that exist on top of that. But while food is certainly a necessity for everyone, for a contractor who works with hardware on a regular basis, hardware materials sit in the same category. Wrenches and screwdrivers are absolutely vital for a contractor to do his or her job, and if a contractor finds that one of his or her wrenches or screwdrivers is either broken or the wrong size for a particular job, obtaining a wrench or screwdriver that works becomes of top importance.
But since clients don’t look so favorably on a contractor leaving the job site for two hours to find new materials (and think about it, would you?) Industrial Dash is here to deliver the materials you need, so you can stay at your job site- and potentially work on other parts of the job while you wait for your new materials. This not only keeps your client satisfied, but is both time and cost-efficient. Everybody wins!
